Handguns (Individuals may ship through U.P.S. or Federal Express)
You may ship a complete handgun or semi-automatic pistol through U.P.S. (United Parcel Service) using Next Day Air Saver or Federal Express Priority Service. Only F.F.L. (Federal Firearms Liecense) holders and law enforcement may use the U.S. Post Office to ship a handgun or semi-automatic pistol. However if you are shipping a barrel only, slide & barrel, or handgun (less cylinder) you may use U.P.S. Ground Service or FedEx.
For shotgun porting services, the barrels only are needed. If your barrels have screw in chokes, please leave them in. Our porting is placed behind the choke tubes and they are not removed during processing.
Keep the receiver and forearm behind to reduce the opportunity of damage in transit. If your barrel has a rib, place the rib toward the inside of the shipping container and not an outside edge.
Rifle actions only are needed for Mag-na-porting or Mag-na-brake services. Stocks, scopes, and bolts should be kept behind. An additional charge of $15.00 per rifle applies when we must remove the action from the stock and reassemble. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BOLTS RECEIVED WITH RIFLES. Rifle services do run longer than our handgun and shotgun porting services averaging up to 3 weeks depending on work volume.
PLEASE BE SURE TO PACKAGE AND WRAP YOUR FIREARM PROPERLY. Please include a letter of instruction with your handgun or barrel indicating what services are to be done, return shipping address, and method of payment. Delivery for our handgun and shotgun porting services will average 7 to 10 days for processing once received by Mag-na-port. If additional custom services are requested delivery will vary depending on the services requested. Due to the large volume of firearms received we do not notify you of arrival or hold firearms for payment.
